Colorado Hay Report

  Compared to last week, trade activity light on moderate to good demand.  
According to the U.S. Drought Monitor’s High Plains summary for February 5, 
2019, dryness and drought remained far more intense and widespread in Wyoming 
and especially Colorado.  D0 expanded through northeastern Colorado and the 
Nebraska Panhandle, where little precipitation has been observed for the last 
couple of months.  USDA NRCS Colorado SNOTEL River Basin Index percentages for 
Thursday, February 7, 2019:  Gunnison 114, Upper Colorado 117, South Platte 113, 
Laramie and North Platte 108, Yampa and White 112, Arkansas 128, Upper Rio 
Grande 101, and San Miguel, Dolores, Animas and San Juan 105.  The next 
available report will be Thursday, February 14, 2019.  All prices reported are 
FOB at the stack or barn unless otherwise noted.  Prices reflect load lots of
