Compared to Jun 22: Prices trended generally steady compared to last
week prices. Retail/Stable type hay remains the most demanded hay. Most
hay growers have cut 2018 hay and a few are selling now. Recent rains
in the growing areas have slowed sales as those who hadn't baled are waiting
for hay in the field to dry and those who had baled now have rain damaged
hay. All sales in this report are new 2018 crop year hay, unless noted by
Old Crop.
