Week ending 2/07/20
Another week with the same crazy temperature swings, telling the same
story as far as hay markets go. The past week went from sunny and 70
to snow and 27. Feeding and getting around continues to be frustrating
as the ground just won’t stay froze. Hay movement is slow. The supply of
hay is moderate, demand is light to moderate, and prices are steady. The
Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory available for both
buyers and sellers. To be listed, or to view the directory visit
http://mda.mo.gov/abd/haydirectory/ for listings of hay
