Colorado Hay Report

   Compared to last week, trade activity light on moderate demand.  According to 
the U.S. Drought Monitor’s West Drought Summary for December 4, 2018, recent 
precipitation in the Intermountain West improved current snowpack and long-term 
precipitation deficits, resulting in widespread improvements to long-term 
drought conditions in Utah, Colorado, and northeast Arizona.  USDA NRCS Colorado 
SNOTEL River Basin Index percentages for Thursday, December 6, 2018:  Gunnison 
106, Upper Colorado 131, South Platte 145, Laramie and North Platte 127, Yampa 
and White 133, Arkansas 147, Upper Rio Grande 85, and San Miguel, Dolores, 
Animas and San Juan 79.  The next available report will be Thursday, December 
13, 2018.  All prices reported are FOB at the stack or barn unless otherwise 
noted.  Prices reflect load lots of hay.  If you have hay for sale or need hay,
