Wet sloppy muddy conditions have taken over much of the state. Although
temperatures continue to trend below average they are not staying cold
enough to keep the ground frozen hard enough to get around by any means.
Most everyone is feeding hay now as what grass farmers were able to
stockpile is mostly if not all gone at this point. There is currently
many smaller producers and horse farmers who generally do not produce any
hay themselves in the market looking for hay. The supply of hay light
to moderate. Hay prices are steady. Hay demand is moderate to good. The
Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory available for both
