Compared to the last week: Alfalfa hay sold steady to firm. Supplies in squares continue
to lighten, however round supplies remain moderate. Demand for hay to ship out of the
state increased this week as many large sales were seen to midwestern states. In state
hay sales continue to be active as ranchers and horse hay buyers were active in purchasing
again this week. Mixed grass alfalfa hay sold on good demand again this week with many
ranchers purchasing this class of hay. Straw sold steady on good demand. All prices are
dollars per ton and FOB unless otherwise noted.
