Week ending January 31, 2020
Compared to last week reported hay sales sold steady. Demand was
moderate to good for hay products. Many contacts are getting sold down on
hay. A slight warm up across most of the state over the weekend with a
tick colder than seasonal temps the first of next week. Sometime, in the
near future this report will be converted to a weekly weighted average
report and will be sent out as a PDF report. Some video sales that LPGMN
reports have been using this format the last few months and the report
may be viewed at https://www.ams.usda.gov/market-news/hay-reports click
on the PDF to see the new reporting layout. “All prices are dollars per
