Missouri Weekly Hay Summary

Week ending 7/24/20

The latest drought monitor shows about thirty-five percent of the state
affected by some level of drought, an improvement of about sixteen
percent after the precipitation the state received this week. There was
a little break in the heat in some areas after the rain. However, it was
short lived, and the humidity and heat have settled back in until the
next round of rain that expected next week. Hay prices are mostly
steady. The supply of hay is moderate to heavy, and demand is light. The
Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory visit
http://mda.mo.gov/abd/haydirectory/ for listings of hay
