Colorado Hay Report

  Compared to last week, trade activity light and demand moderate.  
According to the U.S Drought Monitor’s High Plains Summary released 
December 10, 2019, Last week’s weather brought continued dryness to the 
abnormally dry and drought areas of south-central Nebraska, Kansas and 
eastern Colorado.  According to the USDA NRCS Colorado SNOTEL 
Snow/Precipitation Update Report for Thursday, December 12, 2019, snow 
water equivalent basin index percentages were:  Gunnison 106; Upper 
Colorado 108; South Platte 124; Laramie and North Platte 113; Yampa and 
White 118; Arkansas 112; Upper Rio Grande 115; San Miguel, Delores, 
Animas and San Juan 120.  The next available report will be Thursday, 
December 19, 2019.  All prices reported are FOB at the stack or barn 
unless otherwise noted.  Prices reflect load lots of hay.  If you have
