Missouri Weekly Hay Summary

Spring officially arrived this week, but so far no wide spread showers, some isolated areas did receive some moisture but nothing like what is really needed. That being said farmers are getting a lot of field work done in preparation for planting. Several are making good progress spreading fertilizer on pastures and hay fields as well. Still a lot of hay being trucked to those affected by the fires but locally hay business is pretty none existent. The supply of hay is moderate, demand is light and prices are steady to weak.
