Hay trade mixed

In Nebraska and the East River area of South Dakota, alfalfa, grass hay, ground and delivered hay sold steady. Dehydrated alfalfa pellets steady, sun-cured pellets $5 higher. Demand is light to moderate for hay with-in the state and good demand is noted for hay going to cattlemen out of state where large fires destroyed most or all of their feed resources, according to the USDA Market News Service, April 7.
