Compared to last report: Hay traded steady to firm on light to moderate movement. Rain hampered movement mid-week in the Panhandle but the area was glad to receive moisture. New Crop Alfalfa prices continued to trickle into the market causing an increase in price due to higher quality hay. Coastal Bermuda producers in the East and South remain busy cutting and baling in their fields and except new crop prices next month. Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except where noted.
