In Iowa, new hay that hit the market the last two weeks has been snapped up. Overall, the hay quality was below what growers were hoping for, but those that did harvest first cutting felt lucky that they were able to do so. New crop straw was in short supply as the wheat harvest has been stopped by intermitent rains.
