Week ending 4/17/20
Most of the past week was cooler than normal which seems to have slowed
grass growth a bit. Mostly dry weather did allow for some continued field
work to take place even if farmers were digging jackets back out from
behind truck seats. Several guys continuing to try to get some hay sold
before new crop hay gets baled and ready to be added to hay piles. The
supply of hay is moderate, demand is light, and prices are steady to
weak. The Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory
