Demand moderate to good as inquiry has been reported to be improving as more hay users are looking to secure their hay needs. Winter storm moved across the area on Monday bringing a couple of inches of snow to the state, open grazing conditions still exist however. Warmer weather forecasted for the weekend which should melt what little snow there is. Cattle producers in the central and western part of the state are short of hay but the lack of cold and snowy weather is helping them to stretch their hay supplies.
