Weekly Montana Hay Report

Compared to last week:  Hay prices sold mostly 10.00 lower.
Demand for hay was light to moderate this week with the best
demand seen for large rounds. Warm weather continues to curb
hay demand and producers looking to sell hay this tax year 
were willing to take lower money to do so. Demand for grass 
and grass alfalfa hay was light to moderate as well. Light 
sale volume occurred this week, however prices were lower in 
a narrow comparison. All prices are dollars per ton and FOB 
unless otherwise noted.
