Compared to last report: Hay trades were mostly steady to 5.00 lower.
Movement picking up with producers making room for next cuttings. Demand
moderate as yields have been abundant but quality remains a issue.
Bermuda producers split on adding fertilizer after second cutting whether
the application price is worth the extra tonnage. Some areas receiving at
least a inch of moisture this week with others going on 50 plus days of
no rainfall at all. Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except
where noted.
