Week ending 6/05/20
Farmers finally got to make some progress on haying over the weekend and
the first half of this week. Several acres were cut and baled before
storms came through late Wednesday night into Thursday dropping heavy
rains on bringing hay harvest to a stop once again. Yields reported in
seem to be pretty pleasing for the most part. Hay prices are mostly
steady. The supply of hay is moderate, and demand is light. The Missouri
Department of Agriculture has a hay directory visit
http://mda.mo.gov/abd/haydirectory/ for listings of hay
