Week ending June 27, 2020

   Compared to last week, alfalfa hay prices were steady, with the eastern 
region trading 10.00 higher going to dairies.  Trade moderate to active,
demand moderate to good.  The southern and southwestern regions are in
their third cutting.  The eastern and southeastern regions are finished
with the second cutting and going on the third.  Rain reported in parts of
the state but some areas still remain mostly dry.

Eastern region:
Alfalfa: Large Square Bales: Premium and Supreme Quality: 190.00 per ton
delivered to dairies.

Alfalfa: Small Square Bales: Premium and Supreme Quality: 10.00 per bale.

Wheat Hay: Large Square Bales: 120.00 per ton.

Beardless Wheat Hay: Large Square Bales: Good Quality: 140.00 per ton.

Southeastern regions:

Alfalfa: Large Square Bales: Premium and Supreme Quality: 190.00-210.00
per ton delivered to dairies.

Alfalfa: Small Square Bales: Premium and Supreme Quality: two tie 300.00
