Most hay selling steady

In Nebraska and the East River area of South Dakota, alfalfa and grass hay sold unevenly steady. Ground and delivered hay and dehydrated pellets sold steady. Demand was light to moderate in most areas of the state, according to the USDA Market News Service, Oct. 27. Prices given on per-ton basis, unless otherwise noted.
Eastern/central—Supreme alfalfa, large squares, $160; premium, large squares, $140-$150, large rounds, $110, small squares, $190; good, large squares, $150.
