Most hay selling steady

In Nebraska and the East River area of South Dakota, large square bales of dairy alfalfa sold steady to $5 higher, round bales of alfalfa and grass hay sold mostly steady. Ground and delivered hay sold $5 higher and dehydrated pellets sold steady. Demand was good for dairy alfalfa and light to moderate for all other baled hay, according to the USDA Market News Service, Nov. 3. Prices given on per-ton basis, unless otherwise noted.
