Compared to last week: Hay prices sold fully steady.
Hay market activity this week was mostly slow with
limited sales seen this week. Very cold and snowy
conditions were seen early this week. This has some
ranchers feeding hay as pastures are short and covered
with snow. This week’s Drought Monitor found improved
drought conditions across the state as heavy snowfall
helped improved conditions. All prices are dollars per
ton and FOB unless otherwise noted.
