All prices per ton, unless noted, FOB the stack. Compared to last week: Light reported sales again this week. Demand is light for low quality grinding cow hay, moderate to good for higher testing hay more suited for dairies. Interest is light to moderate. 3rd cutting alfalfa is underway and has potential to be some of the higher quality hay so far for the year as the weather pattern has been drier and lower humidity allowing hay to cure in a timely manner.
