Compared to last week, trade activity and demand moderate. According
to the U.S Drought Monitor’s High Plains Summary released March 24, 2020,
on March 19, a spring storm delivered wind-driven snow to parts of
northeastern Colorado and western Nebraska. Denver, Colorado, reported
6.0 inches of snow on that date, along with a peak northerly wind gust to
49 mph. Some snow fell in the region’s mountainous areas, but there was
little overall change in the drought depiction, except for some removal
of moderate drought (D1) in northwestern Colorado. According to the USDA
NRCS Colorado SNOTEL Snow/Precipitation Update Report for Thursday, March
26, 2020, snow water equivalent basin index percentages: Gunnison 99;
Upper Colorado 113; South Platte 122; Laramie and North Platte 117; Yampa
and White 115; Arkansas 102; Upper Rio Grande 101; San Miguel, Delores,
Animas and San Juan 102. The next available report will be Thursday,
