Week ending 3/13/20
Spring field work was just getting started late last week before being
placed on hold due to rains at the start of the week. There was quite a
bit of equipment cutting in anhydrous over the weekend and several buggies
out spreading fertilizer, as well. Several gooseneck loads of round bales
were spotted on the roads this week and quite a few listings being added
as producers are trying to move any extra inventory before new crop hay
arrives. The supply of hay is moderate, demand is light to moderate, and
prices are steady. The Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay
