Looking at the forecast, this weekend temperatures continue in the low 70's Next week will see much cooler temperatures in the 50's for highs and high 30's for lows. According to NASS 94% of the corn crop has reached maturity or beyond, which is two days behind the 5 year average. 13% of corn has been harvested, over two weeks behind average. Corn condition increased to 61% being reported in good to excellent condition. 96% of soybeans were dropping leaves, a day ahead of last year. 32% of soybeans have been harvested, the lowest percentage by this date since 1985. Soybean condition increased slightly to 63% of crop reported in the good to excellent range.
