Alfalfa trade slow and movement very light. Demand very light for dairy hay, light to moderate for other types. Moderate to heavy rains over much of the state ended field work for many producers and also curtailed hay movement. Grass hay trading at a near standstill under very light demand and heavy supplies. Wheat planting estimated to be 30 percent complete, 10 percent less than last year. Two percent of planted winter wheat was estimated to have emerged. Market News continues to maintain an online hay directory for both in-state and out-of-state hay producers. The directories are on the ODAFF homepage at www.oda.state.ok.us. Producers wishing to list hay are encouraged to call at 1-800-580-6543 or email jack.carson@ag.ok.gov. Alfalfa Central Oklahoma: Premium quality large square bales 125.00-130.00.
