Weekly Texas Hay Report

  Compared to last report:  Most hay classes traded fully steady as 
demand increased.  The Panhandle had cooler temperatures to kick off the 
week which prompted buyers to stock up.  Supplemental feeding of 
livestock remained very limited for now.  Large bales of Coastal Bermuda 
in the East and South Texas traded steady to 10.00 lower as producers 
lowered prices to get hay moving since there is plenty of hay available 
this year.  Some producers in those areas were still baling hay.  
   Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except where noted.
