According to the NASS crop production report August 10, 2017, California Alfalfa acres for 2017 was at 750,000 vs 720,000 for 2016 and production for 2017 is 4,950,000 vs 5,040,000 for 2016 and Yield for 2017 is 6.60 tons vs 7.00 tons for 2016.
