Weekly Texas Hay Report

  Compared to last report:  Most hay classes traded fully steady on light
to moderate movement.  It was either feast or famine in terms of rainfall
across the state.  The Panhandle, North and East Texas had thunderstorms
which made hay movement difficult and may cause lower quality hay on the
market in the future weeks.  Coastal Bermuda producers in the wet parts
of the state are almost a month behind in baling due to saturated fields. 
West and South Texas are dry and in need of rain to continue their crops. 
Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except where noted.
