Week ending 08/18/2017 Cooler weather and moisture has brought green back to most areas now and pastures and hay fields are once again starting to see some growth. Some areas did receive very heavy rains with some reports of several inches falling. Hay movement has been pretty light. Although some areas got close there was no reports of anyone having to feed any through the dry spell some areas saw in June and July. Hay supplies are moderate, demand is light and prices are steady. The Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory available for both buyers and sellers.
