A reduction in abnormally dry conditions occurred in the southwest part of the state while, a slight increase was seen in the southeast, despite some locally heavy rains. Overall, the abnormally dry (D0) category has decreased to 49.58 pct and moderate drought (D1) was steady at 4.83 pct.
