Wyoming Hay Summary

Week ending June 22, 2018

Compared to last week comparable sales sold steady on a thin test.
Some producers are finished with first cutting with many in the Western
side of the state just getting started. Rain across most areas of the
state this week. Many producers and buyers still trying to nail down a
fair price for their hay. With milk prices going down several dairies are
balking at current asking prices. All prices are dollars per ton FOB the
field or hay barn unless otherwise noted. Prices are from the most recent
reported sales.
