Week ending 9/13/19
Last week’s thoughts of fall disappeared in a hurry as unseasonably hot
weather reminded us that summer isn’t over. Famers are starting to pull
into some corn fields and combines are starting to get underway with
harvest in a few areas. Hay movement has slowed quite a bit and prices
are weak with several sellers lowering asking prices in an effort to
move some hay before winter. Hay supplies are moderate, demand is light
to moderate. Hay prices are steady to weak. The Missouri Department of
Agriculture has a hay directory available for both buyers and sellers.
To be listed, or to view the directory visit
