Colorado Hay Report

   Compared to last week, trade activity and demand light to moderate.  
According to the U.S Drought Monitor’s High Plains Summary released October 15, 
2019, there was no change in drought status in Colorado or Wyoming, but abnormal 
dryness and moderate drought expanded in Kansas with pockets of severe drought 
developing in southwest Kansas.  According to the NASS Colorado Crop Progress 
report for week ending October 13, 2019, stored feed supplies were rated 3 
percent short, 80 percent adequate, and 17 percent surplus with 4th cutting 
alfalfa progress at 57 percent.  The next available report will be Thursday, 
October 24, 2019.  All prices reported are FOB at the stack or barn unless 
otherwise noted.  Prices reflect load lots of hay.  If you have hay for sale or
