Most hay selling steady

In Nebraska, alfalfa and grass hay sold fully steady. Dehydrated alfalfa pellets and ground and delivered hay sold steady. Demand was mostly moderate for instate purchases with good demand for all classes of hay going out of state to feedlots or to cow/calf producers, according to the USDA Market News Service, Jan. 12. Eastern/central—Supreme alfalfa, large squares, $190; premium, large squares, $175-$180, large rounds, $90-$100; good, large rounds, $75-$85.
