Weekly Texas Hay Report

   Compared to last report: All hay classes traded steady to firm on 
moderate to good movement.  The Panhandle is going on 100 days with no 
moisture causing major concern to livestock owners.  Variety and quality 
of hay on the market continues to decrease and we have a ways to go until 
new crop becomes available in April and May.  Prices for hay and pellets 
quoted per ton except where noted.

Panhandle/High Plains:
