Weekly Texas Hay Report

   Compared to last report:  All hay classes sold fully steady on light 
to moderate movement.  Most pastures remain in fairly good condition with 
scattered showers and mild temperatures.  Some buyers are having a wait 
and see attitude before contracting anymore hay especially with freight 
tacking on so much cost.  Coastal Bermuda producers in the east and north 
are busy fertilizing in hopes of another cutting so supply will not be 
short.  Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except where noted.
