Compared to last report: Most hay classes traded fully steady on slow
to moderate movement. Ground Alfalfa traded steady to 5.00 lower.
Producers are hopeful for a future wheat hay crop if the Panhandle
continues to receive rainfall. Coastal Bermuda producers in the north
and east are busying spraying for army worms; prices are staying steady
for now. South Texas Coastal Bermuda producers have been delayed on 4th
cutting due to large amounts of rainfall. Prices for hay and pellets
quoted per ton except where noted.
