Top quality hay appears to have been shedded, with growers only selling sparingly.
Very little of this top quality of hay has been spotted at hay auctions, leaving
buyers scrambling. This has resulted in higher prices for lower quality hay.
Because of continued rainey weather, corn stalk baling has temporarily ceased.
