Week ending 11/09/2018
Weather conditions have many wondering where Fall went. Temperatures have
been very cool and damp with below average temperatures forecast for much
of the next week. There as even been talk of snow although not likely to
last long it still is way too early in most famers view for that. Hay
movement overall has been slow although several horse owners continue to
look for places to pick up just a few small bales. The supply of hay
light to moderate. Hay prices are steady. Hay demand is light to
moderate. The Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory
available for both buyers and sellers. To be listed, or for a directory
visit http://mda.mo.gov/abd/haydirectory/ for listings of hay
