Oklahoma Hay Market Report

Alfalfa trade remained at a near standstill this week with holidays and
weather limiting movement. Most hay movement consisted of previous trades and
contracts. In-state offerings are mostly light to moderate and most buyers
are looking out-of-state for supplies. Demand was mostly moderate for all
alfalfa this week. Prices were fully steady in the limited test. Grass hay
movement also limited this week with demand moderate and supplies of better
quality grass hay light.

Market News continues to maintain an online hay directory for both in-state
and out-of-state hay producers. The directories are on the ODAFF homepage
at www.oda.state.ok.us. Producers wishing to list hay are encouraged to call
at 1-405-522-3753 or email jack.carson@ag.ok.gov.
