Compared to last week: Alfalfa hay sold steady to weak. Demand
continues to be mostly light to moderate on heavy offerings.
Mostly mild winter conditions continue to be the story as hay
use is relatively light across the state. Hay in rounds continues
to see excess supplies and is selling on light demand as a result.
Demand for squares has been moderate to good as many of these
sales continue to go to out of state buyers. Straw demand has been
light and very little straw has moved over the last few weeks.
All prices are dollars per ton and FOB unless otherwise noted.
