South Dakota Weekly Hay Summary

All prices per ton, unless noted, FOB the stack.

Compared to last week: Alfalfa and grass steady as high quality hay
inventory levels diminish. Strong demand for hay with artic winter
weather experienced the area and to continue into next week. Finding
transportation continues to be a problem as cold weather and snow makes
moving hay difficult. All hay and straw sold by the ton FOB, unless
otherwise noted.
