Colorado Hay Report

   Compared to last week, trade activity light on moderate demand.  According to 
the U.S. Drought Monitor’s West summary for February 26, 2019, extreme drought 
(D3) was nearly eased out of southern Colorado, leaving a remnant area of 
extreme to exceptional drought (D3 to D4) across northern New Mexico.  USDA NRCS 
Colorado SNOTEL River Basin Index percentages for Thursday, February 28, 2019:  
Gunnison 118, Upper Colorado 112, South Platte 109, Laramie and North Platte 
106, Yampa and White 110, Arkansas 122, Upper Rio Grande 119, and San Miguel, 
Dolores, Animas and San Juan 121.  The next available report will be Thursday, 
March 7, 2019.  All prices reported are FOB at the stack or barn unless 
otherwise noted.  Prices reflect load lots of hay.  If you have hay for sale or
