Oklahoma Hay Market Report

Alfalfa trade was mostly slow. Demand moderate at best, much lightern than
recent weeks. Movement was light to moderate. All prices were fully steady.
Feedlots appear to have immediate needs well covered. Interest from racehorse
facilities and owners picked up this week. No in-state sales of horse hay
were reported however. Grass hay trading was mostly moderate although demand
remains good statwide.

Market News continues to maintain an online hay directory for both in-state
and out-of-state hay producers. The directories are on the ODAFF homepage
at www.oda.state.ok.us. Producers wishing to list hay are encouraged to call
at 1-405-522-3753 or email jack.carson@ag.ok.gov.
