Weekly Texas Hay Report

   Compared to last report:  All hay classes sold steady to instances 
firm on light to moderate supply and moderate to good demand.  Feedyards 
and dairies added different rations to their feed to make the ground 
Alfalfa go further and cheapen the costs.  Hay producers in East and 
South Texas began to green up but some experienced a freeze that may set 
back baling of new crop Coastal Bermuda.  Prices for hay and pellets 
quoted per ton except where noted.
