Weekly Montana Hay Report

Compared to last week: Alfalfa hay sold fully steady.
Demand remains good for hay in squares to ship out of 
the state. Local demand improved slightly this week as 
extremely cold temperatures continue to be seen across the 
state. While demand has improved for rounds, prices 
remain fully steady as round supplies remain high. Straw 
sales continue to be made at steady money. All prices are 
dollars per ton and FOB unless otherwise noted.
