Hay market trade activity is light to moderate. Demand remains moderate.
Prices remain steady for all hay types. Hay movement has picked up only
slightly, with the weather being the limiting factor. Inquires continue to
come in daily from those in need of hay, as this winter weather continues to
try our patience. Snow arrived once again last week across the state, with
more predicted for the upcoming week. Although the ground hog declared spring
was on its way, it can't arrive soon enough for most folks. On the positive
side, the sky begins to lighten a littler earlier each morning which is a
good indications that spring is indeed coming. If you have any extra hay to

Southwest Kansas
