South Dakota Weekly Hay Summary

All prices per ton, unless noted, FOB the stack.

Compared to last week: Alfalfa and grass steady as high quality hay
becomes harder to find. Very good demand for hay with sub-artic winter
weather experienced the area. Transportation continues to be a problem
as cold weather and snow makes moving hay difficult. Warm weather this
weekend will help transportation until cooler weather returns midway
through next week. All hay and straw sold by the ton FOB, unless
otherwise noted.
